Lutheran Services is looking for a hands-on, people-focused Hotel Services Team Leader to supervise and support our Hotel Services (Cleaning & Laundry) team at ourSt.PaulsAged Care .

Location: Caboolture - QLD Remuneration: $34.32 hr + Super + Salary Packaging +Access to staff discounts & benefits Role Type: Permanent Part Time (65 hrs fortnight) | Mon to Fri(8:30am - 3.30pm)

n

Your Role: This is a role for someone who leads from the front, you'll roll up your sleeves alongside your team, mentor and develop staff, and drive continuous improvement across the department.

n

Reporting to the Service Manager, you'll coordinate the day-to-day delivery of hotel services to ensure our residents receive the highest quality of care and service in a clean, comfortable and well-supported living workplace.

What You'll Be Doing:

n

- Coordinating the day-to-day operations of the cleaning and laundry teams to deliver high-quality service to residents and stakeholders
n
- Leading, motivating and mentoring your team to build a high-performing, positive workplace culture
n
- Coordinating induction and onboarding for new team members
n
- Supporting the ongoing training and professional development of your team
n
- Regularly undertaking cleaning and/or laundry shifts alongside your team
n
- Monitoring and ordering cleaning and laundry supplies to ensure efficient, well-stocked operations
n
- Liaising with external contractors as required
n
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and audits,



identifying and reporting risks
n
- Operating within the department budget in consultation with the Service Manager
n

About You: You're a natural leader who's comfortable getting involved in the day-to-day work, communicates well with residents, families and care staff, and takes pride in creating a genuinely positive living environment for older Australians.

- Current or willingness to obtain a valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or Police Check (as per site requirements)
n
- Valid Queensland Driver's Licence
n
- Experience in a similar hotel services, cleaning, or laundry supervisory role, including use of specialised equipment
n
- Experience leading and managing a diverse team (Aged care experience preferred)
n
- Relevant qualifications in hospitality, cleaning services, or team leadership
n
