The Role n
This opportunity will suit an experienced Assistant Development Manager ready to step into a Development Manager role, or a client-side Project Manager looking to transition into development and take greater ownership of project outcomes.
n
Reporting to senior members of the development team, you will be responsible for driving key aspects of the development process across feasibility, financial performance, design, planning, approvals, procurement, and delivery.
n
Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, you will:
n
n
- Drive development strategies and project objectives;
n
- Manage multidisciplinary consultant and project teams;
n
- Progress planning and development approvals;
n
- Manage project budgets, programmes and commercial outcomes;
n
- Identify, manage and resolve project risks and issues;
n
- Coordinate design, procurement and delivery activities;
n
- Manage relationships with consultants, government agencies and project partners;
n
- Monitor project performance against key milestones and objectives; and
n
- Ensure projects are delivered to the required time, cost, quality and commercial outcomes.

What We are Looking For n
n
- Bachelor's degree in Property, Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline;
n
- 5+ years' experience in residential development and/or client-side project management;
n
- Strong understanding of the property development lifecycle;
n
- Experience across residential apartment and/or Build-to-Rent projects highly regarded;
n
- Strong commercial, analytical and problem-solving capability;
n
- Proven ability to manage consultants and multidisciplinary project teams;
n
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills;
n
- Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of project outcomes; and
n
- A driven, collaborative and adaptable approach.
