- Ongoing, full-time Housekeeper position TCSA Wages Employees Award, Cleaner Level 1, annual package $61,830 (includes base salary $54,552 + plus superannuation & leave loading)

- Casual positions available TCSA Wages Employees Award, Cleaner Level 1, hourly rate $34.27 (includes base hourly rate $27.51 + weekend penalties)

Taronga Western Plains Zoo Dubbo is looking for experienced and motivated Housekeepers to join our Accommodation team!

n

As part of our friendly Housekeeping Team, you ’ ll help keep Taronga Western Plains Zoo ’ s award winning accommodation and public areas looking their best — all while being surrounded by incredible wildlife every day.

About The Role n

As a Cleaner/Housekeeper, you ’ ll play a key role in ensuring our accommodation and public spaces are presented to the highest standard. You ’ ll work closely with a high performing team and contribute to the exceptional guest experience Taronga is known for.

Key Accountabilities n

n
- Maintain clean, safe and well-presented accommodation facilities, public areas, administrative buildings and associated precincts that enhance the visitor and guest experience and reflect Taronga’s high standards.
n
- Ensure the presentation and amenity of accommodation and operational facilities support Taronga’s reputation as a world-class tourism, education and conservation destination.
n
- Contribute to industry-leading customer experiences by delivering responsive, professional and high-quality service aligned with Taronga’s Customer Service Charter.
n
- Support the communication of Taronga’s conservation, education and sustainability messages through positive interactions with guests, visitors, staff and volunteers that reflect Taronga’s values.
n
- Contribute to a high-performing, collaborative team setting that supports the achievement of Taronga’s strategic objectives and operational priorities.
n




- Promote environmentally sustainable practices that support Taronga’s sustainability targets and reduce the environmental impact of operations.
n
- Comply with and report any Work, Health and Safety incidents in line with Taronga’s Work, Health and Safety Charter.
n

About You n

We are looking for candidates that have:

n

n
- Current NSW Drivers License or ability to have existing license formally recognised,
n
- Vaccinations against Zoonotic diseases (in accordance with Taronga’s Zoonotic disease vaccination matrix) at your own expense – Hep A.
n
- Obtain and maintain a current paid NSW Working with Children Check at your own expense.
n
- Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical assessment.
n
