About you

Cromwell Property Group is seeking a Treasury Analyst to join our Treasury team in Brisbane in a permanent position.

You enjoy working with numbers, exploring what they mean and communicating your findings clearly. You take care with the detail, build positive working relationships and organise your work to meet deadlines. You are comfortable taking responsibility for your work, asking questions and seeking input when needed.

This role offers the opportunity to build on your banking and analytical experience and further develop your treasury expertise.

You will bring:

- A tertiary qualification in Finance, Banking, Commerce, Economics, Property Economics, Accounting or a related discipline.
- At least two years’ experience working as a banking analyst within the banking industry.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, including experience assessing financial performance, debt capacity, covenant compliance and lending risk.
- An understanding of debt facilities, loan documentation, financial covenants, hedging instruments, LVR and treasury reporting.
- The ability to interpret financial, legal and commercial information and explain your findings clearly.
- Experience managing banking relationships and negotiations, coordinating input from others and keeping analytical or transaction activities on track.

Knowledge of property and funds management financing and experience with GTreasury or another treasury management system would also be beneficial.

About the role

Reporting to the Group Treasurer, you will provide treasury analysis, modelling,



transaction coordination and compliance reporting to support funding, liquidity and financial risk decisions.

You will own the accuracy and timeliness of the analysis, models, covenant calculations and reports you prepare, while escalating material risks, documentation inconsistencies and matters outside approved policies or authority.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Preparing debt portfolio analysis covering maturities, pricing, funding costs, covenant headroom, hedge ratios, interest rate sensitivity, foreign exchange exposure and counterparty concentration.
- Developing scenario models and recommendations to support debt and treasury risk management decisions.
- Preparing financial models, lender responses, information memoranda and presentations for funding and refinancing processes.
- Coordinating treasury transaction workstreams across capital providers, internal stakeholders and external advisers.
- Calculating financial covenants and preparing compliance certificates and supporting analysis for review and approval.
- Producing treasury dashboards, debt and hedging statistics, valuations and Board, CFO and annual report information.




- Reviewing cash positions and forecasts and identifying liquidity actions or risks for the Group Treasurer.
- Leading improvements to treasury analysis, reporting, systems, data quality and process efficiency.
