What You’ll Do

- Assist with kitchen open and close procedures, including set up and pack down
- Load and unload dishwashing machines and hand-wash specific items as needed
- Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately
- Remove garbage regularly and keep the kitchen area clean, tidy and sanitised, including floors
- Follow daily deep cleaning schedules and maintain cleaning supply stock
- Help set up workstations before meal prep begins
- Work alongside our Head Chefs, Cooks and Prep Cooks to assist with preparing, cooking, portioning, sealing and safely storing D2C and catering meals
- Perform basic food preparation tasks under supervision
- Keep fresh and dry ingredients safely stored and stocked, using our production software to track inventory




- Operate sealing equipment and assist with plating and portioning
- Report any equipment, quality or ingredient issues to the team
- Other tasks as directed

What We’re Looking For

- A willingness to learn about food safety, with an interest in plant-based wholefoods
- No formal qualifications required, but Cert 2 in food preparation or a food handling certificate is a plus
- Previous experience as a dishwasher, wait staff or in a hospitality/food environment is helpful but not essential
- Good time management and the ability to follow instructions on manual tasks
- A robust work ethic and a team-player attitude
