We are seeking a calm, reliable and experienced Spanish-speaking Disability Support Worker to provide high-quality, person-centred support to a client living in Baulkham Hills.

The successful candidate must be confident driving and have their own reliable vehicle, as the role involves transporting the client to appointments, activities and community outings.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide respectful and consistent support tailored to the client’s individual needs, preferences and support plan.

Your responsibilities may include:

- Communicating with the client in Spanish
- Providing companionship and meaningful social support
- Transporting the client safely to appointments, activities and community outings
- Supporting community access and social participation
- Assisting with grocery shopping and other errands
- Preparing nutritious meals based on the client’s preferences and dietary needs
- Building a positive and trusting relationship through calm, consistent and respectful support
- Maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality at all times

About You

You are a compassionate and dependable Support Worker who:

- Speaks Spanish confidently
- Is calm, patient and respectful
- Enjoys providing companionship and social support
- Is confident driving and transporting a client
- Can prepare simple, nutritious meals
- Has robust communication and interpersonal skills
- Can follow support plans, routines and instructions accurately
- Is comfortable working independently in a client’s home and community
- Is reliable and committed to providing consistent support
- Respects individual choice, privacy, dignity and independence




- Has a genuine passion for making a positive difference in someone’s everyday life

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

- Confident Spanish-speaking skills
- A valid Australian Driver’s Licence
- Your own reliable vehicle suitable for transporting the client
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, Aged Care or a relevant qualification ( preferred)
