The Role

This is a group-wide leadership role for someone who’s genuinely energised by closing the gap between “the system exists” and “the system gets used.” You won’t be configuring servers; our IT infrastructure and helpdesk support are delivered through our outsourced IT partner. Instead, you’ll own the adoption, roadmap, and continuous improvement of our core business applications (think Business Central, SharePoint, reporting/KPI tools, and field/inspection apps), and make sure they genuinely work for people in the office, the workshop, and the field.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the General Manager – Business Systems and Support Services, and based at our Bibra Lake HQ with regular travel across our sites (including Henderson, Darwin, and Karratha), you’ll:

- Lead adoption of business systems and digital tools across Pressure Dynamics, UFP, and PDQ using structured change management (communication, training, reinforcement), not one-off rollouts.
- Own the configuration, roadmap, and continuous improvement of core business applications,



partnering with department leads to turn operational pain points into practical system and process improvements.
- Design and deliver user training, onboarding materials, and quick-reference guides tailored to a mixed office/field/workshop workforce.
- Build strong relationships with site-based teams, spending real time on-site rather than operating solely from head office.
- Act as the internal business owner in our relationship with our IT service provider, coordinating rollout of current hardware, applications, and security requirements without owning technical delivery directly.
- Evaluate new technology and vendors against genuine business need, tracking adoption metrics, user satisfaction, and realised value.
- Lead a Systems and Applications Administrator and champion a culture of continuous improvement across the wider team.

Qualifications & Experience

- A genuine “technologist” mindset, curious about how technology solves real business problems, not technology for its own sake.
- Proven experience leading digital transformation, business systems, or applications management initiatives, ideally across multiple entities or business units.
- A track record of driving user adoption and change across a dispersed or operational workforce, ideally including field/industrial environments.
- Working knowledge of ERP/business systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics Business Central), Microsoft 365/SharePoint, and reporting tools.
- Experience partnering with an outsourced IT service provider or similar vendor relationship (highly regarded).
- Excellent influencing, communication, and training/facilitation skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly across our WA and NT sites.
- A tertiary qualification in business, information systems, organisational change, or a related field is preferred but not essential, relevant experience will be highly valued.
