As a Senior Data Tester, you will be working as a part of a growing Technology Solutions Delivery team, you will be integral to the development of testing strategies across multiple platforms. You will manage the planning, monitoring and execution of all testing activities. You will demonstrate strong communication skills and be able to collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes. You are passionate about testing, curious and your attention to detail is high.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and execute testing strategies, test plans and test cases to ensure the accuracy, quality and reliability of data and analytics solutions.
- Lead end-to-end testing activities across data integrations, migrations, transformations processes across multiple platforms, including Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
- Identify and resolve data defects, discrepancies and performance issues in partnership with technical teams.




- Develop automated test frameworks and data validation scripts using SQL and Python.
- Drive continuous improvement in testing practices while maintaining compliance with governance and security standards.

Your Skills and Experience

- 5+ years’ experience in Data Testing, Test Analysis or Quality Assurance, with demonstrated experience in test automation.
- Strong expertise in SQL-based data validation, reconciliation, ETL/ELT testing and data quality assurance across large-scale data platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and modern data warehousing solutions, including proficiency in SQL and Python skills.
- Proven experience delivering testing outcomes in Agile environments, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and business teams.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality, governance and continuous improvement.

Desirable

Experience leading testing initiatives, mentoring team members or contributing to testing frameworks and standards. Azure DevOps, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Power BI or related certifications.



Experience with Microsoft Fabric migration projects and/or within financial services or other regulated industries. Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent industry experience. Familiarity with data governance principles and security standards relevant to financial services.
