About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and safety-focused Maintenance Fitter to join our Tamworth manufacturing site.
This is a hands-on role responsible for preventative and breakdown maintenance, fault finding and repairs across our production equipment. Working closely with the Production and Maintenance teams, you will help keep equipment operating safely, reliably and efficiently.
What You will Be Doing

Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance
Diagnose faults and complete mechanical repairs
Install, maintain and improve production equipment
Undertake fitting, fabrication and welding as required
Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement
Maintain accurate maintenance records
Work collaboratively with Production and Maintenance teams
Maintain a safe, clean and organised work workplace
Follow all safety, quality and environmental procedures

About You
We are looking for someone who brings strong mechanical skills, a practical approach and a commitment to safety.

Trade qualification as a Fitter and Turner or equivalent
Minimum 2 years’ experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance
Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
Current driver's licence and forklift licence
Good computer skills,



including Microsoft Office
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Experience with CMMS, welding/fabrication or food/feed/process manufacturing will be highly regarded
