Description

Work closely with NOV global engineering and product line teams to refine solutions
Support field operations and provide in office technical support when required.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed drilling analysis including offset well review, lithology interpretation, and parameter optimization
Select and design drill bits (PDC and/or roller cone) aligned with application requirements

Conduct dull grading analysis and post-run evaluations to drive continuous improvement
Generate technical reports, run summaries, and benchmarking comparisons
Ensure compliance with NOV engineering standards and customer specifications

Qualifications

Collaboration and relationship management
Bachelor’s degree in petroleum, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline is highly regarded
8+ years of experience in drilling, drill bits, or oilfield services
Experience working with drill bit selection, design, or field applications
Background in technical sales, applications engineering, or field engineering
Strong understanding of drilling environments (offshore, deepwater, or land) is highly regarded
