About State Sport Centres:
The Victorian State Sport Centres Trust (SSCT) operates and maintains over $1 billion assets including four of Australia’s largest multi-sport venues, the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC), the State Netball and Hockey Centre (SNHC), Lakeside Stadium incorporating the State Athletics Centre, and Knox Regional Sports Park including the State Basketball Centre (SBC).
Unlike other major international standard venues that host sport and entertainment events, SSCT venues also provide access for users at all levels, from elite and professional athletes to school and community participants 7 days per week, up to 16 hours a day.
Through the provision of access for all, SSCT makes a unique and significant contribution to Victoria’s sport sector.

About the role:
As the Manager Workforce Strategy and Development your will lead SSCT’s enterprise workforce strategy, workforce planning, organisational design, capability and culture capability and workforce systems agenda, translating organisational strategy and operational requirements into an evidence-based view of workforce development required for the future.
Direct and integrate the Talent & Engagement and Organisational Capability and Workforce Systems and Insights functions, setting enterprise priorities and governance while ensuring functional leads retain subject-matter expertise and end-to-end accountability for their respective strategies, frameworks, products and services.
About you
As an established people leader, you will have significant experience leading workforce strategy, organisational development or similar,



including advanced knowledge of workforce planning methodologies. You've successfully led multidisciplinary workforce portfolios through functional leaders and specialists, bringing proven stakeholder engagement, negotiation and communication skills. Your proven ability to design, govern and evaluate workforce programs, products and services, leveraging workforce data and influencing executive and senior leaders sets you apart.
To be effective in this position, you’ll bring a working knowledge of contemporary workforce practices, including talent management, succession planning, organisational culture, employee engagement, leadership development, learning, organisational capability and workforce diversity and inclusion. Your experience informing or leading continuous improvement in workforce systems to enable organisational effectiveness will set you up for success for this pivotal role.
