The Contracts Administrator plays a crucial role in the Building and Construction industry, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met and managed effectively. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall success of projects by ensuring compliance and optimising contract performance.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyse contracts to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and maintain contract documentation, including amendments and variations.
- Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure timely execution of contracts.
- Monitor contract performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Assist in dispute resolution and manage claims as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of contract changes and communications.
- Provide training and support to team members on contract management processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in contract administration within the building and construction industry.
- Strong understanding of contract law and procurement processes.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
