About the role

The Senior Supervisor – Community Wellbeing plays a key role in the Community Wellbeing team at Inner West Council. Reporting directly to the Community Wellbeing Manager, the role is responsible for supervising staff and coordinating the effective day-to-day operations of Council-operated community facilities, including the Hannaford and Annandale Community Centres, as well as oversight of community bus services. The position supports the delivery of safe, inclusive, accessible and well managed services that respond to community needs and align with Council’s
strategic priorities, operational requirements and community expectations.

Remuneration





$112,346.52 - $122,063.24 p.a. + 12% Superannuation

Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications

1. Tertiary qualifications in community services, social sciences, human services or related fields and/or equivalent industry experience
2. Demonstrated experience in managing community facilities or similar service delivery environments.
3. Proven ability to lead and supervise staff, including performance management and team development.
4. Strong understanding of community development principles and inclusive service delivery with knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements and risk management practices in community settings.
5. Experience managing budgets and administrative systems.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
