Join Our Team as a Clinical Trials Coordinator - Permanent fulltime position.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Trials Coordinator to join our research team. This pivotal role involves working closely with Principal Investigators and associated staff to coordinate and support clinical trial research activities, ensuring the consistent delivery of a high-quality, professional, and efficient research service.
About the Role:
As a Clinical Trials Coordinator, you will be instrumental in the successful execution of clinical research at our Hospital. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and supporting clinical trial research activities in close collaboration with Principal Investigators and all associated staff.
- Ensuring the consistent provision of a high-quality, professional, and efficient research service.
- Managing data collection, informatics, and utilising relevant computer software.
- Developing rapport with patients and their families, especially in stressful situations.
- Upholding confidentiality and data integrity throughout all research processes.
- Contributing to the ethical and governance requirements of clinical research.
About You:
You are a meticulous and committed professional with a strong background in research or clinical environments. You possess excellent organisational and communication skills, thriving in a multidisciplinary team setting. We are looking for an individual who demonstrates:
- A Registered Nurse, allied health, or science qualification.
- A demonstrated understanding of clinical trials methodology and knowledge of Positive Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP) requirements.
- Minimum 12months experience
- A demonstrable commitment to high skilled standards in all aspects of your work.
- Demonstrated leadership ability working in a multidisciplinary health care team.
- The ability to develop rapport with patients and their families in stressful situations.
- Proficiency in computer software, informatics, data collection, and/or media skills.
- Demonstrable excellent communication and organisation skills.
- An understanding of the importance of confidentiality and data integrity.
- Substantial working experience in a research or clinical environment, including experience in the conduct and coordination of clinical trials.
- An understanding of ethics and governance in clinical research.
Remuneration
$85,000-95,000 superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
