We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Teaching and Leadership academic to contribute to teaching, curriculum development, and governance within the School of Natural Sciences.

This role provides the opportunity to deliver high-quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, engage meaningfully with students, and contribute to the School’s teaching mission in environmental sciences. The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of how Earth science principles lead to understand, manage, and solve environmental problems affecting the natural and built environment, more particularly in the key areas of geomorphology, earth surface processes,



physical geography, earth surface observation, and/or earth surface responses to anthropogenic disturbance and hydro-climate extremes.

The applicant may also have experience in environmental management in rivers, wetlands, coastal or urban environments, and/or contaminated site assessment, with the capacity to teach in these areas at third-year and post-graduate levels. The successful applicant will also have expertise in curriculum design, teaching innovation, and course planning. They will also contribute to academic governance processes, including curriculum review, accreditation, and quality assurance, while supporting and mentoring academic teaching teams.
