Your new role
- Supervising mechanical installation and commissioning activities onsite
- Leading and coordinating tradespeople, contractors and project personnel
- Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to schedule
- Monitoring productivity, quality and project performance across assigned work fronts
- Interpreting mechanical drawings, specifications and project documentation
- Conducting pre-start meetings, toolbox talks and safety interactions
- Ensuring compliance with site safety procedures, project requirements and quality standards
- Managing labour, equipment and resources to support project milestones
- Working closely with project stakeholders to deliver a successful installation
- Promoting and maintaining a strong safety-first culture across the workforce
What you'll need to succeed
- Mechanical Trade Qualification (Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a supervisory role within mining, industrial, shutdown, maintenance or construction environments
- Proven leadership experience managing mechanical teams on major projects or shutdowns
- Strong understanding of mechanical installation, maintenance and project delivery
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project documentation
- Strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
- Current Driver's Licence
- Construction White Card
- Working at Heights certification
- Solid communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to pass pre-employment and site-specific requirements
