**About us**

The Wildflower Society of WA has been helping members of the public to know, grow, conserve and enjoy Western Australia's beautiful wildflowers since 1958.

Our nursery in Perth's northern suburbs (The WA Wildflower Nursery) is run entirely by volunteers and grows around 20,000 plants each year, many of which are rare and endangered in the wild. By growing these plants and encouraging them to be planted in home gardens, we ensure they will not become extinct.

**About our prospect**

As our official Wildflower Photographer, you will capture images of our nursery stock plants as they come into flower. We will use these images to create signage to help our customers select plants for their garden and show what the plants look like at their most beautiful.

**Time Requirements**

The time commitment required for this opportunity varies throughout the year but is extremely flexible.

You are able to attend our nursery and take photographs of our plants at any time that suits you during our nursery opening hours:

Monday 9am-12pm

Thursday and Saturday 9am-2pm





Many plants are in flower during late winter and early spring and so you will need to attend more regularly during this time. Very few plants are in flower during summer and so the time commitment will decrease over these months.

**Where to find us**

Our nursery is located on the corner of Hartman Drive and Kingsway in Madeley, **but the entrance is off Sporting Drive in the Kingsway Sporting Complex**. We are directly opposite the Kingsway Dog Park and at the end of the side street called Village Place.

There is parking right outside the nursery, and plenty of additional parking throughout the Kingsway Complex. However, Netball Season runs from May to October and parking on Saturdays during this time can be difficult.
