Are you the person who likes pulling things apart to see how they work, fault-finding problems and getting machinery working again?
MEGT has an exciting opportunity for an entry-level Print Technician Trainee to join a global leader in imaging, print and information technology.
You'll gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology while working with a company that delivers innovative document and digital solutions to businesses across Australia. With a strong focus on excellence, sustainability and customer success, the company invests in its people and builds long-term partnerships with its customers and communities.
This 24-month traineeship will see you enrolled in a Certificate IV in Information Technology, gaining valuable practical experience in a supportive and high-tech environment. We're looking for someone with a genuine curiosity about how things work. This role would ideally suit a mechanically minded individual who enjoys pulling apart machines, fault-finding, repairs and hands-on work with equipment and machinery.
Key Duties
- Provide on-site technical service and support for printers and related equipment
- Perform printer repairs and maintenance
- Assist with equipment setup and installation
- Use diagnostic and fault-finding techniques to identify and resolve issues
- Troubleshoot technical and connectivity problems
- Communicate with clients regarding their IT and printing equipment
About You
- Ready to launch your career in IT and print technology
- A quick learner with strong communication skills
- Mechanically minded and enjoy problem-solving
- Committed to completing a 24-month traineeship
- Able to obtain a Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance
- Must hold a current and valid driver's licence and have access to a reliable vehicle
