?️ Building Supervisor – New Homes

Location: Darwin, NT | $120,000–$130,000 + Bonuses | Company Vehicle + Tablet + Training

At Abode New Homes, we've been setting the standard in the NT for over 25 years; and now we're looking for a Building Supervisor ready to grow with us.

?️ What you'll be doing

As our new Building Supervisor, you'll take the lead on delivering high-quality project homes across the Darwin region. You'll:

- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades assistants across 10–15 home builds

- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and scheduling on-site

- Use provided tools (vehicle, laptop/tablet, software) to track progress and communicate effectively and keep great quality control

- Liaise with suppliers and service providers to ensure timely delivery and installation

- Manage construction timelines: especially during Darwin's wet season

- Report directly to the General Manager and work closely with a high-performing team

? What you'll bring

You don't just build homes, you build trust. To thrive in this role, you'll need:

- Essential criteria

- Experience in new home construction, or to be trade-qualified (minimum 2 years)

- Relevant trade qualification in building or construction

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Ability to thrive in the fast-paced NT climate and adapt during the wet season

- Knowledge of building codes and regulations with willingness to learn NT-specific requirements

- Manage multiple projects from site start through to handover





- Ability to juggle multiple projects with calm and confidence

- Coordinate trades, materials, schedules, and suppliers

- Ensure quality, safety, budget, and compliance across the board

- Solve problems fast and communicate clearly with clients, consultants, and the team

- Lead site productivity and be the go-to for delivery and quality

- Excellent communicator and problem-solver

- Australian-based applicants only – sponsorship is not available for this role

Desirable criteria

- Carpentry experience (a bonus)

- NT building knowledge is a plus, but not essential
