We are partnered with a well-known company for the recruitment of a Senior OT Design Manager - SCADA, Electrical and Instrumentation. This role is based close to the Perth CBD (Leederville), and is for an initial contract until 30 June 2027. You'll be working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a competitive pay rate offered.

This role is critical in ensuring that all designs meet company standards, industry regulations, and project-specific requirements.

We're seeking a highly experienced and motivated senior OT design manager - electrical and instrumentation, to lead the development and delivery of electrical and SCADA systems for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

You'll be responsible for:

- Develop electrical and SCADA concept, engineering, and detailed designs for water and wastewater applications, including switchboard design and modifications.
- Experience of PLC code and SCADA development (and standardisation) from initial user requirement gathering, concept design, thru detailed design, documentation testing/verification, site installation commissioning and client acceptance testing.
- Ensure project deliverables comply with design specifications, Water Corporation standards, and industry regulations.
- Prepare electrical and SCADA design and tender specifications, and conduct bid evaluations.
- Provide technical advice in multidisciplinary projects.
- Manage the design process for large SCADA and control projects.




- Liaise with stakeholders such as project/design managers, construction teams, subcontractors, and product vendors.
- Provide mentorship to current and graduate engineers.

Key skills and experience:

- Degree qualified in electrical engineering.
- Substantial experience in the water and wastewater industry.
- Substantial experience of Water Corporation design standards and industry requirements.
- Substantial experience in Australian electrical standards and SCADA engineering
- Experience in project design management and collaboration across multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
