We are currently partnering with a number of highly regarded law firms across Perth who are seeking Employment Lawyers on all levels of PQE and hold a current unrestricted practicing certificate. Whether you are a Graduate / Junior / Associate / Senior Associate or Special Counsel these are great opportunities to develop your knowledge and experience.
The purpose of the role is to provide expert workplace relations services to businesses and develop strong commercial relationships with clients.
Duties:
- Inviting members to and attending events
- Building repeat client base by managing relationships with existing clients
- High level quality of work and client management
- Preparation of high-quality presentations or articles that are relevant to existing and prospective clients
- Teamwork and collaboration with co-workers and other Business Units
- Support, coach and mentor junior team members in technical matters while fostering a supportive and respectful team environment
What we're looking for
- At least 12months years' post admission experience
- Experience negotiating enterprise agreements and advising on the process
- Litigation experience - Federal Court experience would be great. Generally looking for litigation experience in unfair dismissals, general protections etc. Fair Work Commission.
- Workplace investigations.
- Employment law/ workplace relations advice - interpretation of industrial instruments, wages and compliance advice etc
