Join a finance team where you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of Balance Sheet reconciliations. You'll provide technical oversight, partner with key stakeholders across Finance, and help drive process improvements through automation and reporting tools. This is an opportunity to influence reconciliation best practice while supporting and mentoring team members.

Day to day you’ll be…

- Review and approve monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations, including Bank, Merchant, and VCC reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve complex or escalated reconciling items.
- Ensure reconciliation processes align accurately with the general ledger.
- Support process improvement initiatives and strengthen internal controls.
- Identify automation opportunities using Power Automate, Power Query, and Power BI.
- Act as a key contact for reconciliation-related audit queries.
- Coach, support, and provide technical guidance to Reconciliations Officers.
- Prepare reporting on reconciliation status, risks, and unresolved items.
- Partner with Finance teams to resolve recurring discrepancies and support month-end activities.
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and accessible work environment where all Flighties feel welcomed, respected, and supported to thrive.

We’d love to hear from you if you have…

- 3-5 years' experience in Finance, Accounting, or a similar environment.
- Experience performing and reviewing reconciliations.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel capability.
- Experience providing technical guidance or support to team members.
- Exposure to audit processes and auditor engagement.
- Exposure to Power Automate, Power Query, or Power BI.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Effective time management and ability to perform under pressure.
- Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is desirable.
