Meet your team

The IT Services team, which is responsible for enterprise-wide technology strategy, infrastructure, and innovation. The team is structured around key functions including:

- Service Desk Operations (aligned with ITIL practices)

- Infrastructure and Hardware Deployment

- Enterprise Application Development

- Data Architecture and Integration Services

- AI Enablement and Copilot Rollouts

There is a culture of knowledge sharing, with regular team meetings and collaborative design sessions that encourage interns to ask questions and contribute ideas

About the role

Join a energetic IT team at Pitcher Partners, where innovation meets impact.

As an intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in enterprise systems, service desk operations, and hardware deployment, while contributing to projects involving AI, data integration, and process automation. Led by our Chief Information Officer Brett Johnstone, the team plays a critical role in enabling firm-wide efficiency and client delivery.

Key responsibilities

- Assist with diagnosing and resolving desktop, printer, AV, and network issues

- Shadow or support Service Desk operations aligned with ITIL practices

- Help build and deploy hardware to staff and clients

- Participate in routine maintenance checks and document support tickets

- Learn to escalate issues to third-party providers and track resolution progress

- Support the development and maintenance of enterprise applications

- Document workflows and assist with process mapping

- Help troubleshoot performance issues across systems

Who we’re after

- Completing a Bachelor of Computer Science or Bachelor of Engineering majoring in Software
- Available to work two days a week in our offices
