About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will:
- Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care in accordance with professional standards
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care outcomes
- Support, supervise and mentor Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs)
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best outcomes for patients
- Provide education and support to patients and their families throughout their care journey
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement for both patients and staff
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Recent Emergency Department nursing experience
- Strong clinical assessment, decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care
- Understanding of ACQSHC National Standards
- Current Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain)
Desirable:
- Postgraduate qualification in Emergency Nursing or Critical Care Nursing

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives’ – Enterprise Agreement 2024, a salary ranging from $40.26 - $56.54 per hour.
