n Imaging Queensland is seeking an experienced and people-focused leader for the role of a Clerical In Charge (Practice Manager) across our Brisbane City and Diagnostic Imaging for Women (DIFW) clinics , located in the heart of Queen Street Mall.
n This is a rare opportunity to lead two established, high-profile clinics in Brisbane’s CBD, driving operational excellence while fostering a unified and high-performing clerical team.
n Your leadership will directly influence patient experience, team engagement, and service quality across the hub.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
n You'll be responsible for the overall coordination of day-to-day operations, performance, and service delivery across the two sites, ensuring consistency and quality in patient care and administrative processes.
n You will work closely with reception teams, modality leads, radiographers, sonographers and other internal stakeholders to support staff engagement, service efficiency, and optimal patient flow playing a key part in building unity between the sites, fostering a connected team culture, and supporting the delivery of exceptional diagnostic imaging services.
n You will report directly to the Administration Services Manager, working closely to implement operational strategies, drive team performance, and ensure high-quality clerical services across both sites.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

n

⭐ Lead clerical teams across Imaging Brisbane City & DIFW

n

⭐ Oversee reception operations,



patient bookings, phones, and front-of-house service delivery

n

⭐ Manage staffing, rosters, leave coverage, and timesheet approval

n

⭐ Provide leadership, coaching, and performance support to the clerical team

n

⭐ Monitor workflows and daily operations to ensure high levels of efficiency and service quality

n

⭐ Champion a consistent, collaborative, and respectful workplace culture across all sites

n

⭐ Coordinate cross-site communication and ensure alignment with clinical teams

n

⭐ Identify and lead improvement initiatives in partnership with the Administration Services Manager and Territory Manager

n

ABOUT YOU:

n

✔️ Demonstrated experience in a senior clerical or administrative role within a medical or radiology setting

n

✔️ Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams

n

✔️ Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills

n

✔️ High level of attention to detail, with strong problem-solving capabilities

n

✔️ Confident in rostering, compliance, and operational decision-making

n

✔️ Passionate about staff development, team culture, and service excellence

n

✔️ Proactive, solutions-focused,



and approachable

n

✔️ Sound knowledge of Medicare, DVA, Workcover, and inpatient billing processes

n

T his is a full-time position, working a 9 day fortnight Monday to Friday (38 hours), and occasional weekend work if operationally required. Clinic hours are between 7:45am - 5:15pm
