n Montrose Veterinary Centre is looking for an enthusiastic Head Veterinary Nurse to join our leadership team and help shape the future of our large, busy and varied hospital.

Your role
n
As Head Nurse, you'll combine hands‐on clinical nursing with genuine leadership and influence. You'll have the opportunity to:

- Lead, mentor and develop our nursing team
n
- Support junior nurses and emerging leaders
n
- Shape nursing protocols, workflows and standards
n
- Help coordinate hospital and surgical cases
n
- Develop our orthopaedic, hospital and rehabilitation nursing
n
- Drive staff training and professional development
n
- Bring ideas forward and see them implemented
n
- Work closely with veterinary leadership to continually improve patient care
n
n

About you

We're looking for someone who:

- Is an experienced veterinary nurse ready for their next challenge
n
- Has strong clinical skills and a passion for patient care
n
- Enjoys a busy, varied hospital workplace
n
- Has an interest in surgery, orthopaedics and/or rehabilitation
n
- Loves mentoring and developing others
n
- Has strong communication and organisational skills
n
- Leads by example and isn't afraid to challenge the status quo
n
n
Leadership experience is highly regarded, but we're also open to an experienced nurse ready to step into their first formal leadership role.
