The Opportunity n
We are seeking a part-time (0.6 FTE) professional to join our specialist Secondary Schools Counselling Team whose purpose is ‘Making Lives Better’.
n
As school counsellor, you will be working with young people at school to assist them with increased learning engagement, improved health, social and emotional functioning. Services are deliveredusing individual counselling, case management and groupwork service models, along with collaboration with teachers and parents.
n
You will have the chance to work with a team of passionate school counsellors, with professional development, clinical and leadership support provided by Thrive Psychology.

Skills & Experience n
Relevant tertiary qualification
n
AASW or ACA membership or AHPRA registration
n
Desire to work with young people in a school/college setting
n
Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
n
Sound clinical reasoning skills
n
Working with Children and Police Checks
