Job Description

Western Work Force are currently looking for an experienced Human Resources Officer for one of our clients, a Guildford based construction company.

n

Your role will be to support the business across all generalist HR functions, with a robust focus on HR policies, procedures, compliance, and workforce support.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, templates, and employment documentation
n
- Ensure HR practices align with relevant legislation, awards, and industrial relations requirements
n
- Support audits, compliance reporting, and internal HR governance processes
n
- Provide advice to managers on HR policy interpretation and implementation
n
- Provide day-to-day HR advice to leaders and employees across the business
n
- Assist with investigations, grievances, disciplinary matters, and resolution support
n
- Promote a positive workplace culture and consistent employee experience
n
- Coordinate onboarding, inductions, probation processes, and employee documentation
n
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to support workforce planning needs
n
- Support employment contract generation, variations, and employee lifecycle changes
n
- Support training coordination, compliance registers, and qualification tracking
n

Skills & Experience Required:

n

n
- Minimum 2/3+ years' experience in a similar HR Officer / HR Generalist role
n
- Experience within construction, maintenance,



or mining environments (mining highly preferred)
n
- Experience with BHP, RIO or FMG related projects. (preferred)
n
- Strong knowledge of HR compliance, policies, procedures, and employment legislation
n
- Strong documentation, reporting, and stakeholder management skills
n

- $90,000 - $100,000K + Super (negotiable) based on experience

- Monday to Friday hours with a supportive team environment
