The Opportunity:

We have a full-time, 12-month contract opportunity for an experienced Accounts Administration Officer to join our Finance team, based in Perth's CBD.

A key focus of this role will be to ensure that all key administrative tasks within the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions are completed accurately and in a timely manner, supporting productive supplier payment processing and effective customer cash collection.

The role:

- Accurate and timely processing of high-volume supplier invoices daily.
- Daily reconciliation of bank statements.
- Processing of daily invoicing to customers.
- Coordinate work priorities to achieve agreed service levels and standards.
- Communication with key stakeholders from various entities within the group on queries.
- Standard AP and AR tasks, inter alia; data entry, responding to queries, month end reconciliations, maintenance of master files.
- Maintain security and confidentiality in all aspects of the accounts function.
- Ad hoc tasks, as required.

Our ideal candidate will have:

- At least 2+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Experience using computerised financial systems and MS Office applications, specifically Excel.
- Proven punctuality, reliability, honesty, and high level of accountability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective time management, task prioritisation and organisational skills.
- Diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise and cope under pressure.
- Ability to work as a team, as well as autonomously.
- Successful applicants will be required to pass a pre-employment medical examination and criminal record check.
