Branch Manager | Adelaide

Our client is a leading, national and well-established property services business. They are looking for an established people leader to take on a branch management role based in Adelaide, leading a high performing team.

This role is suited to an experienced leader currently working at a Branch Manager, or Operational Leadership level, ideally within Banking, Financial services, or professional services.

No prior experience in the property sector is required; full training and support will be provided to set you up for success.

You will step into an established branch and take responsibility for its continued growth, culture and performance. You will be supported by an experienced Head of level leader, a dedicated business development manager and a well-resourced and established central shared services team.

The opportunity

As Branch Manager, you will lead a team of 6 Strata Managers, managed through a combination of direct and indirect reporting lines, with responsibility across:

- People leadership: developing, coaching and retaining a high performing team. There is no expectation you will carry a portfolio yourself. Portfolio sizes across the team are set using an analytical tool that accounts for real complexity and workload, not just lot count. The focus of your role is entirely on leading the team.
- Customer leadership: role modelling exceptional service, playing an active role in escalated matters and strengthening key client relationships.
- Business leadership: running a profitable branch with accountability for revenue, budgets and risk.

Day to Day

- Leading and developing a team of Strata Managers including Team Leaders
- Driving customer retention, service quality and proactive issue resolution
- Owning branch financial performance including budgets, revenue and cost management
- Supporting growth through new business wins and fee for service opportunities
- Embedding improved systems, processes and ways of working, including the ongoing rollout of AI and technology investment




- Building a positive industry profile through engagement and industry events
- Fostering the professional wellbeing and psychological safety of your team

About you This role is ideal for someone who:

- Is currently leading and managing a team in a bank branch and operating in a customer facing environment
- Has a proven track record of developing, coaching and retaining people in a leadership capacity, ideally with a team of a similar size
- Has experience managing branch or business unit performance, including budgets, revenue and risk
- Brings strong communication skills, sound judgment and a people first mindset
- Is comfortable operating in a regulated environment and confident picking up new legislative and compliance requirements
- Wants ownership, accountability and the opportunity to lead a larger, established team
- Is happy to work within a shared services model with centralised support functions covering administration and financial management
- Is based in Melbourne or within easily commutable distance
