Who We AreAffinity Nursing is a market leader in regional, rural and remote travel nursing and a contracted supplier to health departments nationally.
We’re looking for a part time Administration Support Officer to provide practical, day to day support across our team and help keep things organised, accurate and moving.
About the RoleThis is a hands on administration role for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership and is happy to get stuck in wherever needed.
You’ll have regular responsibilities across administration, systems, documentation and general office support, while also helping with adhoc tasks and projects as they arise.
A part of the role will include supporting our team with CRM administration and managing the day to day administration of our nurse uniform process.
More importantly, we’re looking for someone who notices what needs doing and takes action. You won’t need every task handed to you, you’ll be comfortable picking things up, working out what needs to happen and seeing it through.
You’ll Thrive in This Role If You
- Enjoy a busy and diverse workload where no two days are exactly the same.
- Are organised, accurate and have strong attention to detail.
- See something that needs doing and do something about it.
- Take ownership rather than waiting to be reminded or directed.
- Can prioritise and move comfortably between different tasks throughout the day.
- Enjoy being part of a team where everyone gets stuck in and helps where needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day to day administrative support, including data entry, document preparation, record maintenance and follow-up of outstanding information or actions.
- Monitor shared inboxes,
action or direct enquiries and ensure requests are followed through.
- Provide CRM and administrative support to our team, keeping information accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate the administration of our uniform process, including orders, enquiries, packing, postage and stock.
- Help keep the office running smoothly, including maintaining meeting rooms and shared spaces.
- Provide practical support across the business as needed, from internal projects and company activities to adhoc tasks such as preparing and packing our annual Christmas gifts.
Preferred ExperienceYou’ll ideally have previous administration or office support experience, be confident working across different systems and be comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities. Experience with data entry, CRM or database systems, document preparation and Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Teams would be advantageous.
Experience in recruitment or healthcare would be helpful but isn’t essential.
What We Offer
- Ongoing professional development, mentoring and training.
- Fun Colour Friday — from colour themes to PJ days, no two weeks look the same!
- The chance for your pup to apply for our CHO — Chief Happiness Officer position and join the pup schedule for office days.
- An office-based role with our team in Woolloongabba, QLD.
- Part time hours - Tuesday and Thursday required, ability to negotiate additional time/days.
Why Join Affinity? At Affinity, every action big or small contributes to keeping our teams moving and supporting the nurses, hospitals and communities we work with.
