Are You the Right Fit? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Coder with a strong track record of coding excellence in a tertiary healthcare setting.

The Successful Candidate Will

- Possess extensive knowledge of ICD-10-AM, Australian Coding Standards, and National Coding Advice, with demonstrated experience coding complex and high-acuity clinical cases.
- Has exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to confidently interpret complex medical documentation.
- A collaborative team player who enjoys sharing knowledge,



supporting colleagues, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
- With a commitment to quality, accuracy, and professional excellence, takes pride in producing high-quality coding outcomes while meeting productivity targets.
- This role is ideally suited to an accomplished coder who is ready to further develop their expertise, take on greater responsibility, and make a meaningful contribution to a high-performing clinical coding service.

Technical skills will be assessed during the interview process. (2 hour Coding Test.) Selection Criteria To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

- Current extensive clinical coding experience using ICD-10-AM within a tertiary hospital setting.
- Extensive experience across a broad range of specialties with evidence of meeting KPIs for accuracy & throughput as set within SWSLHD Advanced coder coding competencies.
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and communication skills with high level attention to detail.
- Proven ability to prioritise tasks and effectively manage time and resources to meet pre-determined targets and deadlines.
- Ability to analyse, abstract, interpret and report information in clinical coding forums.
- Enthusiastic attitude and demonstrated ability to work both independently, within a team and be flexible in a changing work environment.
- Demonstrated skill in the use of computerized PAS and record control systems, 3M Codefinder software, PICQ and a sound knowledge of Microsoft office applications.
