Source: uWorkin The Successful Applicant Will Be Responsible For

- Establishing job requirements from drawings and specifications and laying out installation reference points.
- Drilling holes, installing mounting brackets, and cutting, bending and threading piping.
- Installing and repairing components including compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, switches and gauges.
- Installing copper lines and piping for refrigerant, compressed air, gas, oil and chilled water systems as required.
- Bolting, soldering, riveting, welding and brazing pipes to connect equipment and checking alignment and accuracy of fit.
- Filling systems with gas or fluid and checking for leaks.
- Test-operating refrigeration and air conditioning systems, checking mechanisms and making necessary adjustments.
- Removing test gas and fluid using vacuum pumps and filling systems with refrigerant.
- Checking and overhauling refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
- Diagnosing faults and repairing or replacing defective components.
- Adjusting system controls and mechanisms and reassembling systems.
- Performing scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Recording causes of equipment malfunction and corrective action taken.
- Ensuring all work is performed safely and in accordance with relevant workplace procedures and industry standards.

About The Candidate Totino Investments is seeking a qualified and experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team in West Ryde, NSW. This is a full-time,



ongoing position for an experienced tradesperson with practical skills in the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems., * AQF Certificate III in a relevant field, including at least two years of on-the-job training; or

- AQF Certificate IV in a relevant field; or
- At least three years of relevant industry experience where relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification.

Relevant experience and/or additional on-the-job training may be required depending on the applicant's qualifications and background. Applicants must have the practical skills and relevant experience necessary to perform the duties of an Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Mechanic.

Licensing The successful applicant must hold, or be able to obtain, any relevant Australian registration or licensing required to perform the duties of the position.

Skills and Attributes The Successful Candidate Will Have

- Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and repairing refrigeration and air conditioning faults.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans and technical specifications.
