Mech Air Industries is looking for experienced Air Conditioning Installers / Technicians or Trades Assistants to join our growing commercial projects team.
Commercial
Installers work across a range of commercial construction, fit-out and refurbishment projects throughout Sydney and NSW.
Key responsibilities
For Commercial Air Conditioning Installer:
- Installation of commercial air conditioning and mechanical systems
- Split, ducted, package and VRF/VRV systems
- Refrigeration pipework, brazing and pressure testing
- Installation of indoor and outdoor equipment
- Mechanical ductwork, grilles and diffusers
- Fans and ventilation equipment
- Condensate drainage and associated mechanical services
- Reading and working from mechanical drawings and plans
- Testing and commissioning preparation
- Coordinating with supervisors, builders and other trades
For Commercial Air Conditioning Trades Assistant / Labourer:
- Materials deliveries to and from site
- Working onsite and at head office
- General labouring duties to assist the installation teams
- Driving company trucks and vehicles
- Assisting with installation of commercial air conditioning and mechanical systems
- Coordinating with supervisors, builders and other trades
- Completing required site and project documentation
About You
For Commercial Air Conditioning Installer:
- Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
- Current ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence
- Construction White Card
- Current unrestricted Australian Driver Licence
- Relevant air conditioning installation experience
- Strong refrigeration pipework and installation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia
For Commercial Air Conditioning Trades Assistant / Labourer:
- Construction White Card
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Experience working on construction sites
