Join our dynamic Team at DHL Global Forwarding! We are looking for an Air freight Transport Specialist, within the Airfreight Freight Import Department, at our Sydney Office.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordination of Air Freight import deliveries.
- Manage cartage providers on a day-to-day basis to adhere to agreed KPIs.
- Some coordination of payments for release of cargo via outside forwarders.
- Act as key contact for allocated customers on agreed delivery requirements and supporting on challenges.
- Monitoring the Customs and DAFF held shipments.
- Reduction of client transport liabilities.

Key Accountabilities:

- Previous experience in Shipping/International freight forwarding industry in airfreight and/or ocean-freight / Import operational roles
- Positive knowledge of forwarding business, DHL products and business systems (advantageous)
- CargoWise and Expedient experience (advantageous)




- Ability to identify and meet customer needs in a pleasant and friendly manner.
