About the work unit / facility:

Child Development Services (CDS) provides transdisciplinary paediatric allied health assessment services to children aged 0-8 years with complex developmental delays. CDS works in partnership with families, supporting their understanding of their child's developmental delay or disability and transition to early intervention services and community supports.

Competitive salary and benefits

Generous remuneration package value up to $62,944 p.a. comprising:

- Salary range: $64.64 to $69.55 p.h. (HP4)




- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Health Practitioners and Dental Officers - Professional Development Leave and Professional Development Allowance
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

About your opportunity: Join the CDS as a Senior Allied Health Clinical Intake Officer and provide clinical leadership across referral, triage and intake. You'll assess and prioritise referrals, support families to access appropriate services and coordinate care across Child Development Service and Community Paediatrics. You'll also contribute to service improvement and integrated, family-centred care.

Requirements

- Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration (if applicable)
- Possession of a Class C driver's license
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
