About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AP Process Improvement Manager to lead a process improvement project within the Accounts Payable function, based in Chatswood with the flexibility to work from home 2 days per week. This is a hands on role, working closely with a new AP system to identify and resolve issues. A small team of AP temps will report into this role, and the successful candidate will also liaise closely with an offshore team as part of day to day operations.

The role suits someone who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves to solve problems directly and drive change across the AP function.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the AP process improvement project from end to end

Work hands on to identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues within the current AP system

Manage a small team of AP temps reporting into this role





Liaise closely with the offshore team to ensure smooth day to day operations

Liaise directly with suppliers to resolve queries and implement solutions

Oversee and improve 3 way matching processes

Drive practical, hands on solutions to day to day operational issues within AP

What We're Looking For

Proven experience running a process improvement project within an AP function

Experience working with or liaising with offshore teams

Solid supplier relationship management skills, with a solutions focused approach

Solid understanding of 3 way matching

Experience with SAP or another major ERP system
