ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking experienced Aged Care Assessment Delegate (non-client facing) who have a passion for making a meaningful difference to the lives of older Australians and are keen to join a values based organisation.
If you have:
- current or previous experience working as an Aged Care Assessment (minimum one year)
- A tertiary qualification in Nursing, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or a related health field with registration with relevant professional bodies (e.g., AHPRA)
- have a robust working knowledge of My Aged Care and the aged care assessment process and related guidelines
- have a proven ability to use technology, (eg;laptop) to manage and complete client assessment delegation tasks
- can work independently and efficiently to meet defined KPIs
- have a keen eye for detail, and demonstrate strong written and documentation skills
Then we would like to hear from you! Within this role you will function to deliver aged care assessment delegation support to iLA’s Aged Care Assessment team, to enable program deliverables to be met within required timeframes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Assessment Delegation duties for comprehensive aged care needs assessments for individuals aged 65 and older.
- Engage with Age Care Assessment Team Leaders and Assessors to ensure assessment related documentation reflects client needs and required standards
- Provide quality related feedback to identified stakeholders to support and promote continuous improvement and quality practices
- Be a vital part of a team dedicated to enhancing the quality of life and independence of older adults.
ABOUT YOU The ideal candidate is an experienced clinical aged care assessor with Assessor Delegation competencies and experience. Individuals with consolidated clinical skills who currently work as an Aged Care Assessor (and have done so for a minimum of one year) and have capacity to complete My Aged Care Assessor Delegation training for nomination to work as an Assessor Delegate will also be considered.
