The Assistant Commissioning Engineer performs commissioning for switchboards as per client requirements and according to the instructions of the Senior Commissioning Engineer.

Qualifications, technical skills, interpersonal skills, or experience that are deemed necessary for the role.
Must have experience &/or Electrical background
Electrical Engineering tertiary qualifications, Trade Certificate or equal.
Understanding of relevant Australian Standards and Energy Authority rules.
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office products and proprietary CAD systems.
Experience in testing electrical systems.
Effectively communicate in English, verbal and written.
Ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities as listed below.
Ability to learn if missing any reasonably obtainable required skills, experience and competencies.

Check and complete L1 factory test documents.
Prepare RIF, L2, L3 commissioning documents for PDC.
Work closely with site supervisor and site team to complete site commissioning.
Assist site team to join switchboard shipping sections where necessary.
Attending site inductions prior to working on site.
Ensure all work is carried out as instructed by their supervisor.
Understand and comply to the Company policies and procedures that are applicable to their role.
Maintain a clean and protected workspace and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
