About the role

This is a wide-ranging, hands-on role covering factory operations, logistics, inventory, product quality, and bait transfers from boat to business premises. You will help coordinate people, factory operations, logistics, inventory and cold storage, product quality, and operations coordination across the Port Lincoln operations.

Key responsibilities

- Recruit, onboard, train staff, manage timesheets and general employee administration
- Assist with day-to-day factory operations, bait movement, stock control and logistics of bait from boats to their destination
- Coordinate movements with trucks, crew and forklifts of bait, seafood products, vehicles, equipment and assets
- Manage receivals, stock movements, traceability, storage and distribution in inventory and cold storage




- Assist with checking bait and seafood quality and maintaining appropriate records
- Communicate with fishing crews, tuna farm staff, vessels, drivers, customers and suppliers

About you

- Current Forklift Licence
- Current Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence or higher
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Confidence maintaining records and documentation
- Willingness to learn our products and understand bait quality and condition
