You'll primarily operate a 2T mini excavator and Bobcat/skid steer combo, working across a variety of earthworks and excavation jobs throughout Brisbane and surrounding areas. This is primarily an operator role. On the odd occasion, you must be willing to get out of the cab and assist with ground work when required within the scope of works.
Key responsibilities
- Operating a 2T mini excavator
- Operating skid steer/Bobcat
- Loading, unloading and transporting machinery
- General excavation and earthworks
- Site cuts, trenching, detailed excavation and general machine work
- Daily machine checks and basic equipment care
- Working safely and efficiently around other trades and site personnel
- Minimum manual MR truck licence
- Construction White Card
- Reliable transport
- Positive understanding of safe machine operation and site procedures
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for machinery and equipment
- Reliable, punctual, and take pride in your work
- Comfortable operating in tighter residential and commercial environments
