About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Techno-Functional Aurion Consultant to join our team on a fully remote, 6-month contract basis. You'll bridge the gap between business requirements and technical delivery, supporting configuration, customization, architecture integration, and troubleshooting across the Aurion HR/payroll platform.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications within Aurion
- Configure and maintain Aurion modules (HR, payroll, leave, self-service, etc.) to meet organizational needs
- Design, build, and support integrations between Aurion and other systems (e.g., finance, rostering, time & attendance)
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, working closely with end users and IT teams
- Support payroll processing cycles and ensure compliance with relevant awards, legislation, and business rules
- Develop and maintain custom reports, workflows, and business rules within Aurion
- Assist with testing (unit, system, UAT) for upgrades, patches, and change requests
- Document configurations, processes, and technical solutions




- Provide training and support to end users as needed

Skills & Experience

- Experience as a Techno-Functional Consultant with hands-on Aurion platform expertise
- Robust understanding of payroll, HR processes, and Australian employment legislation (or relevant regional equivalent)
- Experience configuring business rules, workflows, and reports within Aurion
- Solid grasp of system integrations (APIs, file-based interfaces, middleware)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills, comfortable liaising with both technical and non-technical teams
- Experience working in a remote/distributed team environment

Nice to Have

- Prior experience with Aurion upgrades or implementations
- Scripting experience for custom reporting
