We are a small business that is going through a transformation around purchasing and stock management. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter who is happy to make the role their own, show initiative and motivation. This role will be pivotal in increasing revenue and minimizing overstocking.

The business is a Sutherland shire of Sydney based business.

This is Fulltime 8am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday.

Must have a great understanding of the aftermarket automotive market.

To start, your tasks will include but are not limited to:

- Manage and maintain the company’s material and stocked product inventory including stock profiles and stock locations
- Handling automotive parts queries from trade customers
- Provide a high level of customer service with an emphasis on customer retention & development
- Implement and manage inventory cycle stock counting / inventory accuracy checks
- Minimize overstocks and removal of obsolete / redundant stock maximizing available working capital
- Ensure incoming product is receipted and managed appropriately according to company procedure
- Organize, manage and run planned stock takes
- Perform cyclic stock takes




- Ensure works orders are correct and fully completed and that all stock has been allocated to the job correctly
- Ensure integrity and accuracy of the stock management system
- Produce daily reports to ensure key critical areas of the stock system i.e. negative stocks, are controlled and any discrepancies addressed and resolved
- Manage control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed and resolved
- Procurement of non-stock items
