Oversee and direct all bar operations including managing the staff on shift. The Bar Supervisor needs to ensure a continuity of exceptional customer service and culture; maintain product and service standards and adhere to standard operating procedures and efficiencies. Take full responsibility for all operations of the hotel when on shift.
Key responsibilities
- Train, support and monitor quality and service standards for staff
- Monitor cleanliness and hygiene of bar and restaurant area
- Ensure compliance with all licensing laws and company policies at all times
- Completion of all paperwork in a timely, consistent and accurate manner
- Manage deliveries on shift
- Manage and oversee all TAB and gaming procedures and compliance
- Learn and maintain an excellent working knowledge and practical execution of the check-in and check out procedure for the Pub's accommodation
- Manage security and incident reporting where appropriate
- Manage entertainment relationships in office
- Manage function bookings, bistro reservations to ensure customer experience is foremost
- Handle end of day cash reconciliation, till management with accuracy and accountability
- Manage lock up procedures
About you
- Previous Bar and Restaurant management experience 2-3 years minimum
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures and hospitality POS sales systems
- Working knowledge of TAB facilities and Pokie machines
- Adheres to an exceptional customer service culture at all times as well as being able to work as part of a team
- Current RSA certificate
- Current RCG certificate
- First Aid Certificate (desired)
