BMS Service Technician

Location: Melbourne, VIC

Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 + Super + Vehicle

About the Role An established Building Automation specialist is looking for an experienced BMS Service Technician to join its growing Melbourne team.

You'll work across commercial and critical facilities, servicing, troubleshooting and optimising BMS and HVAC control systems. The role offers plenty of autonomy, technical variety and opportunities to further develop your BMS expertise.

Duties

- Preventative and reactive BMS maintenance
- Diagnose controls, network and hardware faults
- Troubleshoot BMS controllers, field devices and HVAC plant
- Complete system modifications, upgrades and minor programming
- Commission controllers and associated equipment
- Provide technical support to customers
- Complete service reports and documentation

Skills & Experience





- Experience within BMS, Building Automation or HVAC Controls
- Robust HVAC, electrical and controls fault-finding skills
- Exposure to Niagara, Distech, Innotech, Schneider, Siemens, JCI, Delta or similar
- Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus and BMS networks advantageous
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Electrical, HVAC or Controls qualifications highly regarded
- Strong HVAC/Electrical technicians looking to transition further into BMS are also encouraged to apply
