We are currently recruiting for experienced Boilermakers / Fabricators for immediate starts across two locations in Brisbane's western suburbs, leading to permanent for the right candidates.
Locations: Redbank and Darra
What's on offer:
- $45-$50PH workshop rate, $50PH + site rate
- Afternoon shift +15% loading
- Mix of site and workshop based work
- Up to 7-day weeks available for those chasing hours
- Immediate starts
The role:
- Fabrication and welding of structures, machinery, and components for heavy industry
- MIG and Stick welding
- Stainless and Mild Steel Fabrication
- Workshop fabrication and assembly work
- Onsite installation work
- Reading and working from drawings
- Working across sugar mill, abattoir, mining, and industrial machinery sectors
What We're Looking For
- Trade Qualified Boilermakeror Highly Experience Fabricator
- Ability to strictly follow welding procedures and engineering specs
- Happy with a mix of site and workshop work
Key Responsibilities
- Fabrication and welding of structures, machinery, and parts/components
- MIG and Stick welding in both workshop and onsite environments
- Manufacture and install equipment for production machinery, fixed plant, and heavy transport
- Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings and measurements
- Operating hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Maintaining high safety and housekeeping standards
- Working independently and within team environments to meet deadlines
