- Manage Brake Control Module Suppliers end-to-end, liaising with supplier software project engineers, coordinating milestone deliverables and SREA impact analysis, and managing software and calibration prototypes through to production release.
- Support Feature Analysis and Change Management by evaluating product and bill of material change impacts on complexity,

coordinating SWAD & VSCS updates, and tracking feature software delivery against program milestones.
- Own vehicle system communication and fault diagnosis, triaging software issues across vehicle builds using CANalyzer/CANape, working with suppliers and core engineering teams on communication system testing, and utilising VSEM to track chassis feature communication and performance.

About You

- 7+ years' relevant industry experience in automotive software/systems engineering.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle brake controls systems and end-to-end software release/change management.
- Demonstrated proficiency with CCM/SWCM, WERS, AIMS, JIRA, FEDE-DVP, SWAD & VSCS, VSEM, and diagnostic tools such as CANalyzer/CANape.
- Strong project management, team leadership and problem-solving skills, including the use of 6-Sigma processes.
- Exposure to the Global Product Development System or system design engineering principles.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate international, cross-functional project teams.
- Experience liaising effectively with global technical specialists, suppliers and core engineering teams, with a strong focus on driving results.
- A Bachelor degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic, Mechatronics, Software) or a related field.
- A hands-on, organised approach with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work across global time zones and travel independently between sites, with overtime/weekend work during peak periods as required.

If you have strong experience in automotive brake controls, automotive software/systems engineering and vehicle communication, and are looking for your next senior contract chance, we’d love to hear from you.
