VAE's Darwin branch is forecasted to grow, and we're looking for a sales and commercially driven Business Development Manager to bring in new Service Maintenance contracts, increasing local opportunity and employment.

We’re looking for someone who can understand a customer’s operation, identify where VAE can add value across service and maintenance, and turn that conversation into a long-term commercial relationship.

About you

You may have run your own HVAC or similar business, or you may have been doing a similar role without the title. You may be looking to settle back into town, earn good money, and spend more time with the people and doing the things you love. If you have:

- Success in business development, sales or account growth
- A background in HVAC, refrigeration,



mechanical services, building services or a closely related technical industry
- A track record of identifying opportunities and converting them into profitable work
- Strong customer relationships and the ability to build credibility with technical and commercial stakeholders
- Experience developing new accounts as well as growing existing customer relationships
- A knowledge of the HVAC market in Darwin/NT and established local industry relationships will be highly regarded
