You may be reading this because you are ready for a change.

Maybe you are looking for a workplace where people genuinely enjoy working together. A place where your teammates have your back. A place where the work is meaningful and no two days are quite the same.

If that sounds like you, keep reading.

At St Bart's, our Care Assistants support older men who have experienced homelessness. For many of our residents, this is not just where they live. It is home.

We are looking for people who understand that great care is about more than helping with daily tasks. It is about building trust, showing kindness, noticing when something is not quite right, and helping people live with dignity and comfort.

Some days you will be supporting personal care and mealtimes. Other days you might be helping someone reconnect with a hobby, join an activity, or simply enjoy a good conversation.

The work matters. The relationships matter. And the small moments matter too.

What you will be doing

- Support residents with personal care and daily living activities.
- Work closely with Registered Nurses and other team members.
- Observe residents and report any changes in their health or wellbeing.
- Help create a safe, welcoming, and respectful home environment.
- Build positive relationships with residents from all walks of life.
- Encourage residents to stay connected with activities, hobbies, and community life.

You will stand out if you have

- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or a similar qualification.
- A minimum of 12 months' experience in aged care, disability support, community services, or a similar environment.
- An NDIS Worker Screening Check,

or the ability to obtain one.
- Good computer skills and confidence using Outlook and care systems.
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach.
- A caring attitude, good judgement, and the ability to think on your feet.

What we offer

- Pay: $34.42 - 36.23 per hour + casual loading and applicable penalty rates
- Location: Super convenient location in East Perth, accessible to public transport
- Perks: Lots of social activities, expand your experience by joining a consultation committee, and walk alongside with the people we exist to support
