DCM BUILDING CO is looking to immediately fill a permanent full-time position of Carpenter. The role involves constructing, erecting, installing and repairing structures using hand tools and power tools, working with timber and related materials.

key responsibilities -

Construct, erect, install and repair structures or wood, plywood and wallboards, using carpenters hand tools and power tools.

Install timber framework

Read and interpret technical drawings

Measure, cut and shape timber

Identify defects and perform repairs

Construct form work

Identify required materials, along with placing orders and selecting materials

About you -

At least 2 years experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of the construction industry

Excellent attitude to work and skilled at all times The ability to liaise confidently with other trades people and company contacts

A‘can do, get it right the first time attitude

Be consistent and able to work well in a team

Be able to perform well under pressure and to tight deadlines

Salary $79000. $89000 + superannuation

Pay: $79,000.00 – $89,000.00 per year
